installing a Pro 2096 in 01 Dakota

Is it hard to install a scanner(like my Pro 2096)? I want to be able to use it for both home and truck use(take it out after I'm done with it),with it being installed in dash to replace my crappy cassette player. Any help or even a link would be appreciated.

If crappy cassette player is din size and the 2096 din sleeve can be used, install sleeve and use din keys to remove scanner. This may require using an external speaker but my 2067 then 2096 and now 600 were/is loud enough to use without ext speaker. You will also need sufficient leads for antenna and power cables to extend outwards during removal.

If you need a sleeve, I have 2 and will be happy to send you one for shipping cost only via USPS. (maybe 5 bucks)

My installs are more permanent without din sleeve in 2001 Saturn LW.
