Ideas for Volvo s60
Has anyone installed radios in a Volvo S60 (2005)? I don't have any mobiles at the moment since I want to create a plan before I start buying stuff. Stealth is important since my wife is antenna phobic.
My TX/RX goals are: 1. 2m/440 ham 2. GMRS, and 3. Civil Air Patrol. General purpose scanning too. It's doubtful I'll accomplish all that but I can dream!
The car will probably require radios with control heads.
Some of my needs can be met with portable radios. I already have an IC-W32A for ham, an XTS3000 and XTS2500 VHF for CAP and 2M ham, and an old PRO-93 that is next to useless in CO. Mobile radios are preferable but can rough it with HT's on some stuff, like CAP.
Curious to hear thoughts from others!
