Default Antenna for Scanner

I need a decent antenna for my 396T scanner, it will be trunk lip mounted so it cant be too huge.I generally listen to 400-470mhz Police/Fire/Ambulance but very rarely listen to Air aswell. Any help would be great. Especially prefer exact model names and links if possible.

Also ondering if its ok to mount 2 scanners to one antenna?

MOBILE POLICE SCANNER ANTENNA KIT TRUNK LIP / LID MOUNT - eBay (item 220467801762 end time Sep-15-09 20:04:43 PDT)

the above link, or if it doesnt work as a link, can be copy and pasted in your search bar, and it shall take you to an ebay item for sale... its a 30.00 dollar trunk mounted scanner antenna... it covers 25 Mhz to 1.2 Ghz (all band coverage) and it also comes with a BNC connector for attatchment to a scanner that has a BNC connector. Its hieght is not that tall, and It might work well for you. Good luck.

Default Mobile scanner question

I recently purchased the Comteco Antenna for my truck. The antenna is great but as I look at the photos from Scannermaster I see that the coil (or the larger section in the middle of the antenna) in located on the lower part of the antenna. Mine on the other hand has been placed on the top end of the antenna. I'm not sure if this was a manufacturing mistake over its fine. Any help would be great.
