GR300 Repeater Upgrade Help

I am removing the two M120 UHF Motorola radios and I need to know which would be the better radio to upgrade to. 1-M1225 UHF 2-CDM1225 UHF 3-CM300 UHF. Also which one would be in the rick book? or were would I find the information on any of these three radios.

I am a retired Motorola dealer and can speak from experience. The CDM series are Motorola Branded radios. The M1225 and CM300 are the Radius Branded radios. Kinda like a Lincoln and a Ford, they are both made by the same company, but better materials are used in the Lincoln. The CDM is by far the best radio in all respects of the spec sheet. Also, the CM300 is not narrow band capable if you plan to use this in the business radio band it will be a brick after 1-1-2013. Any Motorola dealer can give you the pin out on the back of the CDM for your RIC (radio interface controller) without the K.

This is incorrect. CM300's are narrowband capable - I think you were thinking of GM300's which are not.

And I also through my vote in for using CDM series radios. CDM750 should work fine for you.
