I read this and realized how old this was and said well this probably is already solved. I thought I remembered that one of the things mentioned about the 1.8 CPU firmware update was correction of the mirror image problem. Glad you mentioned so I know that my old brain is still somewhat functional.

My Pro 197 that I bought new in April 2010, just did that today, I looked at the display and thought "what the ????". turned it off and back on and it was ok again. My 197 has been running 24/7 since April 2010.
