I am trying to program my pro-97 with scancat-lite plus. I cannot get the radio to read, any suggestions ?

Yes. Get Win97 and ask for a refund on ScanCat lite. Don Starr writes excellent software for GRE rebadged RS scanners. Use this link: Software for RadioShack PRO-series (PRO-92, 93, 95, 96, 97, 99, 163, 164, 106, 197) and GRE PSR-series (PSR-500, 600, 300, 400) scanners Download the thirty day free trial. Then let us know what you think.

What a hassle....the creator of the software thinks its my radio....well everything else works just fine.

Download the thirty-day full-functioning Win97 trial and see how that works. Should give you some ammunition in dealing with Jim Springer. |

I downloaded it.....programmed everything in *Correctly* and still nothing....
I have all the freq's in with the delay on, the last four freq's are the primary controls, all the TG's are in/Type: MOT/MOT 800MHz-Normal/RX Mode-MOT/ID MODE-HEX
Anything else I need to do ?

Attach a copy of your file here in the forum so that we can look at it. Let us know what the system is, and where it is located.

Edit: My bad. If you are listening to Pomona on ICIS, you are SOL. Your city is digital and ENCRYPTED  Well, two TG's aren't encrypted, just digital.

Its San Bernardino County System 9, It wont let me upload it, it says "Invalid File". Do you have an email ?
