Default Motorola Type II Scanning Problem w/ Pro-92 and 2067

Hey everybody!!

It was recommended that I bring my problem to this board. I have a Pro-92 and a Pro-2067 that are having the same problem. I am trying to scan the Springfield, IL Public Safety system.

http://www.radioreference.com/module...DB&sid=598

When I left the area three years ago, my Pro-92 had zero difficulty picking up the system. I return last month and try to pick up where I left off, using the same .spg file and everything. I get nothing on the freqs listed on Radioreference or my .spg file. I have no problem scanning anything else whether conventional or trunking, but am picking up Springfield traffic on 856.500, 857.500, 859.000, 860.000, and 861.000.

I know that these freqs are all .125 above the ones listed in Radioreference. There is no distortion like there would be if it were out of tune. My Pro-2067 that I purchased late last year has the same problem. I've had them running right next to each other with exactly the same results. I just can't see two rigs having the exact same problem with only the exact same system at the same time. No one else seems able to duplicate this with their rigs.

PLEASE HELP!!!

You're really posting this in the wrong place. Post in the Illinois forum and you're much more likely to find someone in the area that may have the answer. It's really impossible for somone who's not in the area and can't monitor the system to say what might be the problem.

Try this spg, yours may be corrupt.

Actually, 0.0125MHz above. If the ones you list are really correct, and the ones in the database are wrong, then it would be a splinter system. The PRO-92/2067 cannot properly handle them.
