Default Pro-528

Hey All, I own a PRO-528, and im in yamhill county. i cant find any information about the scanner trunking on MPT-1327, there doesnt seem to be an option for it.

You can't trunk it , but you can certainly monitor it conventionally.
Our transit system uses MPT 1327 and the best I can do is text tag the freq. for their various geographical areas

ah. that sucks. Is MTP realy old?? or is it just the one trunking system that scanners wont track. and btw how do you put alpha tags into the scanner- computer programming??

MPT is used in the UK , Australia etc.. One day we can hope for a manufacturer to include this format.

Your 528 doesn't have text tag capabilities, I tag them on my 2096.

MPT1327 can be monitored but it isn't easy. There are special programs around to do it. You'll need to search the Internet or there may be some info. in the WIKI.

Oic well that sucks, ahah. but yea Ill manage, I have to get a Bearcat for my car- or im just going to get the regular radios. Im thinking about getting some motorola mobiles. or getting some vertex mobiles. but thanks alot.
