Default Pro 96 bank lockup

I have a Pro 96, and when i load V Folder 7, the scanning locks up on bank 1. I've tried locking many of the frequencies out, but nothing works. If i lock the whole bank out, then it scans normally. This also doesn't happen on any of the other 6 V Folders that I have programmed.

Please Help!

Jason

I narrowed it down to 1 frequency. 155.900 Knox resq. Any ideas why it would lock up on this particular frequency?

Enter the channel manually and note what step it rounds off to. You can force an off step entry - but the scanner will not scan past it. I think you will have to live with 155.9025.

Do you have your squelch set to high. That could cause the scanner to lock up on 155.0925. The squelch control only works on the VHF frequencies and does not effect the "800" frequencies.
Just a thought.

Actually, the scanner might accept that frequency.

I've seen it where the NEXT one in the sequence is an unallowed one (computer programmed) so the scanner won't do it but stops on the last good freq.

I have seen this as a common problem when I enter VHF-hi-band fed frequencies that are often splintered. After programming I just turn on all banks and verify that the scanner doesn't lock up in a bank (without antenna). If it does I find the bad entry and put it in manually to let the scanner "round off" to the nearest step - and then adjust my programming files to prevent this in the future.

The OP would have to update the bad channel manually and save it back to the V-Bank.
