Default Question About "Step"

I just downloaded the arc96 program and first off let me tell you (as if you didn't already know) this sure as hell beats punching everything manually lol.
After downloading my Pro-96's memory onto the computer I got a good overview of how everything is set up.
One thing I did notice is that I use 5 banks for various MOT II trunking and I noticed that three of the banks are set up for 12.5 step and the other two are 25 and I dont ever remember altering the step. What was the factory setting? Does it matter for MOT type II? Also I enjoy searching and trying to tune in to military air frequencies and I noticed some people saying on various sites that when you are searching for MILair frequencies that you should have the step set a certain way. Can I adjust the step using this program? If so what should it be set at?
Thank you for any help.

This is a double post. I already answered your question in the other thread you started.
