Default Pro-84 Question

After browsing the owners manual, wiki and older threads here, I am still in need of some help.

I have entered 40 to 50 VHF Military Air frequencies in my Pro-84. (141.6, 138.725 etc.)

It is receiving in FM, not AM. Is there any way to change the modulation to AM?

Thanks

Hi Jim, I don't think that the Pro-84 mode selection can be changed.

But you know, looking over that stable of scanners in your signature, there are some that you could change FM to AM for those MilAir's.

I would plunk those fifty VHF's into the Pro-2005, pretty sure that one has that option and probably better sensitivity over the 84 anyways.
If not then pretty sure the 396T or 500 will let you change modes as well.

I already have!!

I was just hoping to put those in the old Pro-84 and let it run in the background while the bigger workhorses handle the digital and trunking!

I always know when I've asked a good question...no responses!

Thanks for your suggestion.
