They do make Motorola adapters. I have a couple of them in use here. I'm not sure what you want to adapt TO/FROM. A picture or better explanation might help.

gmclam is right. The original Motorola antenna connector is actually the one that is on the end of your car radio radio. At least that is what it is called. Your scanner probably has a bnc connector on it and you have to figure out what type of antenna you are putting on it. If you are going to use a Motorola antenna than the connector could be and SMA, and from here it starts to get confusing. You might want to double check the model number of your scanner, or at least give us the catalog number. As far as I know, RS never used a 123 in any of their scanners, but I have only been selling them for 11 years, so it might be an old one.

Older scanners (1970's and early 1980's) had the same antenna connector as the car radios of the time which was a larger version of the current mini Motorola connector. Adapters are available online from various sources

RS handhelds have had at least 3 types of connections for external antennas and base/mobiles have had at least two.

The very first portable had a single conductor sub mini jack
The next series had a threaded female jack in the body of the portable. Similar to SMA, not sure the exact name.
They then went to BNC females on the case.

Base/mobiles have had either the Motorola female like on car AM/FM or BNC connectors

I don't think they made an adapter from the sub mini to a Moto female adapter.
The threaded adapter to Moto female was #20-020. Good luck finding something today in one piece.
The BNC male to Moto female is available yet today from some sources. I couldn't find the RS # quickly in my search but it might have been a 20-034.
There are also RCA/Moto male to PL259(SO239) adapters available.

See this oft referenced site for pictures of the various scanners:

Correct model would certainly help. Corrections are welcome.
