Pro 106 Scan Speed

Is there a way to speed up the scan speed? I assume that is what I'm having issues with. Its not picking up the beginning of transmissions. Anyone know why?

I had to change the weather scan interval to a higher setting (250 x100 mS) to keep it from checking for weather alerts to often. It also would cut to this while people were talking.
It is on the weather tab in the Win 500 program.

hmm,dont think you can adj the scan speed

ive read some posts regarding re-organizing your scan lists,
keeping them more in numerical order make it scan a bit uicker..

maybe look into your extended settings,in the
delay/timeouts area..thats how the radio -Listens- for the break
in the static to catch the NAC,DCS, or PL code..

im sure someone will bump up with a better explanation..

Instead of just saying you fixed it perhaps you could post your solution so others having the issue could possibly benefit from it?

You can't change the scan speed at all. Missing the beginning of transmissions is normal, as you have a scanner which may have 1800 objects to scan, other objects could be active, and the radio will be scanning for the next active object and you will miss bits of transmissions.

Turning off priority scan helped my when my Pro 106 had the same issue.
