Default scanner mods?

Are there any mods you can do to scanners? I have a 2051 and was just wondering if there was anything cool to do to them. Not really like hacks but maybe changing the color of the lights and stuff.

The most popular mod done to a scanner is adding a discriminator tap to it.

A great site to check is www.mods.dk
It has mods for lots of ham gear and scanners.
