I'm had some problems with the upgrade.
I had the 106 connected and have tested the Com port. and it saw the port OK.
When I click to proceed, it appears the upgrade is working only for about 10 seconds and then goes to "CPU - Not Responding".
I tried it 20 more times and finally it completed the update.

Could be a sign of a rare company writing docs long before scheduled release date and actually testing their software instead of subscribing to the "just ship it" common mentality these days.  |

I think it did that to me when I updated to 2.0 because I got the same message, but it worked the second time.

Are the upgrades all inclusive? If I don't have 2.0 yet should I flash that before 2.1?

All you need to do is 2.1.

I have no idea where you guys saw version 2.1. Only thing I am find on their sit is 2.0 and that has a date of June 22, not seeing any firmware after that date....

On this page>> RadioShack.com first one on it. Yes the date is 6/22/2012, but that is Not when it was released.

Did the upgrade tonight, went fast and flawlessly.
have yet to see the difference, but at least I am up to date lol

I am now compliant on both Pro-106 & Pro-197. 3:36am what else is there to do but update my scanners?
