RS Black Friday Specials???
Anyone know if RS will have any specials on scanners for Black Friday 2012 (i.e. the day after Thanksgiving)?

Bummer. Just got the notification on the RS black friday sales and there's no scanner of any sort listed.

They seem to have the scanners on sale every year about that time. Sometimes more than once a year. So I would look for them to have scanners on sale but the question is which ones?

Thanks for the words of encouragement, Guys. I haven't given up hope and I will check the sales each week. I got my 106 a couple of years ago on BF and it was an advertised sale so I guess I expect it to happen that way all the time.

You can get an Apple i4 now for $35.00 but Verizon Wirelss gets you on ther other end. Has anyone noticed how Verizon Wirelss has became a nighmare to deal with? I was screaming at them on 611 all the way to a date Saturday night. I told them NO MORE Samsung Brighside referbished cell phones. You have to literally threaten them to get any action. I am finally getting a replacemnet like new LG Extravert. Anyone have this phone in our group? Sorry if I miss-placed this thread.

The RS Pro-106 is now back in stock Online & D2U !
Just a curious note, for several months the RS Pro-106 was showing out of stock Online and the D2U method.
Then magically last week I noticed that the RS Pro-106 was BACK in stock Online and as well as D2U method.
This is GREat because as others have pointed out the RS Pro-106 will be included in the Black Friday sale !
So if you guys go to buy a Pro-106 and your store says "sorry we are out" then have them try Direct2U RS stock.
I keep an eye out every few days on D2U status changes of GRE scanners and wonder if this developement
signals that the RS/GRE factory wheels are either turning again or is this just a finally arrived batch from the old
factory in China ? For 2~3 months the RS/GRE Pro-163/164 models have NOT been available Online or D2U.
Thankfully, during all this time the RS/GRE Pro-197 has had no interuptions being in stock both Online and D2U.

That's just the problem, aside from the one link above, none of the other ads I've seen online show the 106 as being part of the Black Friday sale. And link only had it listed, but not shown on the ad itself. I guess I won't know for sure until the ads themselves come out next week. I'm gonna "bummer" again, but I'm in no super hurry. I'd just like to be able to get one, a new one, for the best price I can.

Don't know what to tell ya. I came across that ad while searching for images of PRO-106's in Google.
Could be that there's just too many items to fit in the printed ad space?? |

Found the 3 page ad just fine but I can't find the PRO-106 listed anywhere in the add at all.
Nor do I see an image of it.
Can anyone actually see it??
If so, what page and portion of the page is it located?

See? I'm not the only one who isn't seeing it. I guess the only way of knowing for sure is to wait until the ad comes out next week.

I see where it's listed on the link you provided, but it's not shown on any of the scans I've seen on various websites. And I thought maybe it was because some things were being cut off the edges of the ad, but then I found a full scan with everything shown and it still wasn't there. I don't know...
