Default pro 197 wont stop on patched talkgroups

Just bought a pro 197 today. I have a psr 500 radio. My 500 will stop on patched talkgroups but the pro 197 doesn't. Should I return the pro 197?

Thanks
Donald

This morning I will check the CPU and DSP versions and see if it needs to be updated.

See if there is a setting to turn Status Bits ON & OFF.

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (Linux; U; Android 2.3.4; en-us; SCH-R720 Build/GINGERBREAD) AppleWebKit/533.1 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/4.0 Mobile Safari/533.1)

That's strange, i cant get my pro-197 to skip them lol. I looked in my menus and in the manual, and there is nothing that allows me to turn status bits off and on. My PSR-800 does, and the feature does work well.
