Question pro197 scanner

questian: why does it seem to follow some trunking frequiencies and not others? for example my local poilce is on a trunking system and they switch to channel 16 the scanner will go there however if they use channel 15 the scanner will not receive it. is there any one that might have an answer for me. thanks

I didn't see a channel 16.

It is most likely a case of a talkgroup that hasn't been recorded yet. The database if created by people who actively go out looking for unknown talkgroups and trying to identify it. You may want to consider adding a wildcard and using Radio IDs to try to find the unknown channel.
