Default Pro 97 Conventional FM Programming

New to the Forum. I programmed my old Pro97 to receive local 154.9500 in Easton, MD but I can't hear anything. Do you need a digital scanner to hear this FM frequency?

That freq. is for mobiles only (Portable and mobile radios), so you won't hear much.
Easton is in Worcester county and they use an EDACS trunking system. The PRO-97 will receive it OK. Click "Database" at the top of the page to find the freqs.

Easton is in Talbot County and looking at the data base 154.950 is the Mobile but says dispatch and the other channels listed show RM. Where would you find the Base frequncy? They all say FM

Their license, KGB464, has expired. It appears they are now using this system - Upper Maryland Eastern Shore Consortium - and the Police and Fire talk groups are digital. The PRO-97 is analog only.

Thanks for the info. I thought that might be the situation but it wasn't posted anywhere.
