Real simple..... You already got a radio that is programmed. You already I assume got software and cable. And you got a radio that is programmed already. Read that radio, save file, then put in new radio. Simple as 1,2,3. And there is something wrong with those TG's they were testing all day and nothing was heard.

spitfire, thanks

basically you told me to check the db page 3 times and the info was there and I have said over and over that if the data was there i wouldnt need to post on here asking for help.

Bellarie isnt in the list so what is the solution?? I guess its my fault i didnt state in first post this was a rebanded ch. Tomball is 40 miles away, but you wouldnt know that. Everything listed is far away from Bellaire, which is in the center of HOuston.

So now what?? What city do you use that is no where near where I want? Obviously the cities are listed separate for a reason.

gjhamilton if i had a programmed radio I wouldnt have spent days asking for help

Yall are all too smart for your own good and dont see the trees for the forest. I do appreciate everyones help, seriously I do. Take a step back if you plan to help someone on here.

I guess that I thought the picture of the radio with the right TG was one that was already programmed.

Tomball was ONLY AN EXAMPLE of what to look for. I provided a link to a map (Site Map: Texas Wide Area Radio Network (TxWARN) Motorola Trunking System, Metro Houston area, Texas) that shows you what's closest (Texas Medical Center). This will be my final post, you have been provided plenty of links and this post has degraded quite a bit.

My guess of why it didn't work is because the transmitting radio was affiliated to a different site than what was programmed in the scanner

But that's just a guess and it assumes the scanner was programmed properly to start with.

Are you sure about Gessner? I would lean towards Med Center.

Seems like you are right about Med Center. Gessner works but not so good for some reason.
