PRO-29 // error on screen when entering code

just got this radio for cheep today from a friend. cant figure out how to get it to work right..

the manual says, press manual, enter the frequency and press program to program your selected channel, but every time i do i get "error" on the screen with 3 beeps which means i entered it in wrong...


i'm new to this and dont really know what i'm doing, so any help would be appreciated!

I am not familiar with the Pro29 but I believe it was made by Uniden. You might try going to the channel you want, press Program, enter your Freq then hit enter.

What frequency are you trying to enter?

You must push the "wx" button when finished entering the frequency.

1. Press MANUAL
2. Press PROGRAM
3. Enter a freq. (like 154.235)
4. Press ENTER
5. Press the UP arrow, enter the next freq., etc.
6. After all freqs are entered, press SCAN.
