Hey i've never in my life used one of these things and I'm trying to figure out how to program it to pick up the Mecklenburg County EMS system in North Carolina... I've read through the fourms and found a couple of things that seemed helpful but I am still completely lost as to what in the world I'm supposed to be doing... its just as it was fresh out of the box i've reset it and thats about as far as ive gotten :/ any help would be greatly appreciated

I suggest you scroll down to the N.C. forum and ask about Mecklenburg. The PRO-164 is an Analog only scanner and there is a lot of movement towards Digital systems. Your PRO-164 might be OK for the immediate future, but perhaps not for long. Some of the local guys should know.
