I assumed it was from Radio Shack because the software came with the cable that goes from scanner to PC. Sorry I didn't know. I'm new to the digital/trunking scanner. The last scanner I had was back in the in 1990s.

10-4. Dont throw the cd away though because it does have the cable driver on it in case you need it again. If you have to reinstall you wont need to install ARC500 again if you dont want to use it.

I also wasn't getting audio from Bucks County. Downloaded with Win500 and now Bucks County works too. I don't really know why it works now. I'm glad it does because I was about to drown it in the bathtub.

Heard PPD activity on the new P25 system this morning.

16th & 19th, 14th & 35th, hearing calls for these four (paired) districts on the new system this morning, 8:50 AM.

ETA: Just heard J band and the 24th & 26th on there as well.

That's great I wonder when the switch over will be? I think I figured out what is wrong with my scanner. The audio went out again. I accidentally tapped it when I was putting it down and the speaker went right back on. It happened a couple of times after that and tapping it lightly on the table 1 time brings it right back on. Sounds like a loose connection inside scanner.

At around 5 PM today on Phila P25 I heard Northeast Ds 2/15, Far Northeast Ds 7/8, Northwest Ds 5/39, Central Ds 6/9, 1st Judicial District, School Police, North Ds 14/35, East 1 Ds 24/26, West Ds 16/19, J-Band, And unidentified TGRP 313, 361, 701, 805, 809, 4007

I believe 313 in the Phila School police or at least something to do with the Schools.

4007 is what the techs tuning the system have been using to talk among themselves.
