Pro 106 multiple control channels
Hi all
Seem to be having a problem-I want to input different control channels into different scan lists (in order to see which IDs are associated with each channel), but it seems that when I try to input a new talk group the scanner automatically uses one of my other main groups info (with 14 channels) and automatically edits...
Any ideas what I am doing wrong?

Are you scanning multiple systems?

You cant put control channels into a scanlist. When you set up a system you can assign the talkgroups to different scanlists, but not control channels.

True. If you have the software and a programming cable, it can be a lot easier to program your Pro-106.

Download System (select closest site; control channels will be downloaded), then talkgroups, then select scan lists.
Refer to the example below.

Cedric, all,
Thanks for input!!
Turns out it was my bad - I was not using "new" when inputting the new talk group, but "system" hence the overwrite..all sorted now.

Glad to be a help! I don't do too much programming by hand; that's why I use software. But you can create a new trunking system from the TGRP menu.
