Uh, not without some extensive modifications. Radio shack actually made a lapel speaker just for such use, and will plug right in with no mods!
I think another no-name company marketed a old moto style speaker mic modded as a lapel speaker. I last saw one that D.C.Ace out of chicago was selling.
Fyi, these speakers usually will get you a "whacker" label.

Where can I get the radio shack lapel speaker? I know my local RS doesn't have them?

They may have dc'd them like they have anything else that's been useful. I suggest trying a resource I use for a low profile earwig.
