There are no banks, there are scan lists, just hit the number 1 and it should be activated.

had you recently uploaded new data to the scanner? anytime you upload it replaces what was in the scanner. so let's say you had data in scan list 1 and you wanted to add data to scan list 2. if you just upload the data for SL 2 all of the data in SL 1 will be erased. when adding data you also need to re-upload all of the existing data as well.

Win500 "All Objects"

One of the most helpful things I have in Win500 software is "all objects." Sometimes, I make mistakes programming things, particularly when it involves more than 5 V folders. I fatigue & make mistakes.
One of the biggest mistakes I tend to make, when I'm compromised, is not assigning objects to a scan list. When you migrate to "all objects", you can see if there is anything unassigned to a scan list. Of course, I am excluding "TSYS" because they don't have a scan list, per se.
So, if you happen to have Win500, this might help find whether you've misplaced something.
Good luck.

If I counted on manual programming for this, I would have never ever found the unattached information. After fixing the problem in question, the heap error went away. Well, that is the best I can recall from that point in time, several years ago. At least it gives you a view of the mapping.
When I program, I always program everything to scan list "1" After things are downloaded into Win500, I go back & add additional scan lists. So, if I'm ever on the road and notice the absence of programmed material in my scan lists, I default to scan list 1. It is not optimal, but it gives me a chance to listen & the fix the problem later.

You need to construct a complete file and upload it all at once. You can't load one scan list, then another, then another, it must be done all at once. Each time you program the scanner it overwrites everything that's in there. Make one file with everything in it you want to scan then save it and upload it. I don't know what programming software you are using, you haven't mentioned which, but make sure that you have the scan lists enabled and that every object is assigned to a scan list.

I would agree with this, but I take a departure from such when I program. However, before I close the file, I always go to "save as" and put it into the saved Win500 files. If I want to add or subtract radio systems from this, I can do so. Often, when programming a large area such as Houston, Texas, I will periodically activate, "save as" to keep from losing the information.
There have been times I worked for hours while not paying attention to the time to have Win500 crash. It is rare, but it has surely happened. After a bout of profanity, I go back and start over.
When I am satisfied with the program, I load it into a V-folder and label it.
Hence, I don't download everything at once. But, generally, I do download the entire system when programming a trunking system. Programming statewide systems like Colorado is quite tiring, I must admit. But, it has to be done due to system upgrades that can occur.

You haven't elaborated what system, frequencies, etc. that you are programming. You haven't mentioned that you have any of your talk groups assigned to scan lists, therefor it's really difficult when your responses aren't very well posed. You have to look at the file, assign objects to the various scan lists and this won't happen. What program are you using? Win500? Post your file here and let us see what you have and what you missed.

Just a possibility, hope its not, but its not unusual the eprom chip can fail and lose their info. EPROMs have so many read-write cycles and some can lose programmed info earlier than others.

What is your definition of "gone"? When you toggle the "1" key does the list enable and disable? Does "gone" mean that you cant pick anything up on the list? I looked at your file and you appear to have a couple of sites on the NC VIPER in list one in a ROAM configuration. I don't know about everyone else, but in MY area and for the systems I monitor I cannot rely on ROAM providing surefire results with the way trunking systems are set up with affiliations etc YMMV but I wouldn't use it.
