Pro-94 trunking problems.
Hi.
I have just got a pro94 and I can get the normal frequencies.
But I can’t get trunking working?
I’m not sure what i'm doing wrong, I have read the manual a few times, entered all the known frequencies for the thing I want to trunk in to one bank, but it doesn’t find a ID (if its supposed to?)
It also doesn’t pick up anything.
I’m in Sydney, Australia.
So I don’t think you will be able to give me any frequencies, but you might be able to send me in the right direction?
Thanks.

If you are in "scan" mode, it will only pick up the id's you have programmed in.
If you are in "search" mode, it will find ANY active id's on the system(s) you have programmed.
Take a look at the "easier to read manuals" located here:

Good luck!

I would purchase the scanlite computer program if the pro 94 is the one capable of computer hook up. I did that and programming was a breeze..good luck

1. Make sure you chose the correct type of system (Motorola, EDACS....)
2. Make sure that the IDs you are trying to program are correct
The database here has some information for your country, but not alot.
When you get it working, please submit your findings to the database if they aren't already there.
Good luck!

across the screen.

If those two talkgroups you programmed in are not active, you won't hear anything.
In order to scan in search mode (vs. scan mode), hit the search button while scanning and it will pick up any active ID's for that system, not just ones you have programmed in.

Ok. When I hit the scan button it just beeps and does nothing?
I must be doing something so wrong; I just can’t figure it out.
Also where is the 'search' button, the radio doesn’t have one.
I remember in the manual it says press 'scan' then 'E'
To find the ID's, but that also doesn’t work.

SRC is search.
Remember you must be trunking or it will only scan the channels conventionally.

I also own a pro 94 and maybe this will help. start from square 1. press program button. press trunk and select bank you wish to store the frquencies you want to monitor. choose sytstem type either motorola 2 motorola 1 or edacs. press the e key for enter. now start entering frequencies in each channel,be aware you MUST put the edacs channels in order they list. as you enter you will see a corresponding letter like m/e to verify you entered correct system. once done, press search and it should obtain control channel and give you ids of talkgroups on that system. Good Luck!!!!
