Jess I see no usb connection for between my scanner and the 106 so I Can add more frequencies so it is still gonna be manual style......

Pro 106 PCIF usb to pc..... This this something I didn't know for years.....
First cable among the many I had in a bag gave me a connection from Pcif to this laptop all I Need is a premium subscription so I can get started on adding stuff to my 106.

You will find life much easier with computer assistance, especially on P25 systems. You will also need a software program. I use the Butel ARC 500, and there are a couple of other ones. If you use the Arc 500, I can send you a sample file so you can get an idea of how to create your own.
