Pro 668 usb cable

Well, I took the bait and got a cheap 668. I'd like to pick up another usb cable for car ops, but I'm not having much luck finding a part number or type. Can anyone tell me what type of cable it is or supply a part number?

Never mind. Found it by cross checking to the GRE. It's a usb A to mini-b cable fyi.

Yes you can. I'm using a regular usb cable for my 668. It reads and writes to the scanner just fine.

The cable must be full USB and not just a charger cable. Some older devices use a USB cable just for charging and as such the cables only have two wires. A true USB cable will have four wires, two for power and two for data. Some cables that come with older devices only have the two power wires. Usually if they have the USB logo they are suppose to be okay, but sometimes they don't always comply with this.
