GRE-PSR800 RS- Pro-668 save to archive

I have save to archive file from GRE-PSR800 with GRECOM EZ Scan Digital Software
and restore from archive the same file with RadioShack PRO-668 Digital Scanner Software

and a mayor problem the reception gone to the dogs when I do this
but I created file in RadioShack PRO-668 Digital Scanner Software
not from archive and 668 is fine

this seems to be a config error
as a result the rx signal / quality is way off

do this

Reset the offending scanner after you read/write your data.and reception should normalize .Press Menu>settings>default values.Then check reception.If all ok,go back into the settings and put them the way you want them.
Weird right? There is a difference in the firmware or programs from the GRE800 and the RadioShack 668.I know,I had both at one time and did this.

You sir are a steely eyed missile man! That totally changed the receive strength on the system I was following; from 1 to 5 bars after I reset the values to default and then went back and tweaked the settings. Thank you very much for your insight.
