Pro-668: Any control software available for 668?

I came up empty with a Google search. Is there any control software that works for this scanner yet? (commercial or home-brew). Something on the lines of Butel, Freescan etc.

The protocols are closed, and have never been released. DonS mentioned in a post several months ago that Whistler might take another look at that. Hoping they do, as I could put my 668's to work in a much more efficient way.
