Pro 95 Audio problems
My Pro95 is programmed for EDACS trunked police systems. I see the freq displayed on the screen when there is radio traffic, but theres no audio. Any idea why the scanner is receiving the signal, but no audio? I even tried to plug in external speakers, and still no audio.

Did you happen to start programming the frequencies in the 0 channel spot? If so that is a no no with an EDACS system. You need to start in channel 1.

Even after moving that freq off that channel bank, it still doing it however it is picking up more conversation.
I will have to make sure I have all the right freq. put in.
Thanks for the tip. I'll let ya know if I still have trouble. I still don't see why it is showing activity on the screen, but no audio.

You need the correct LCN. That's the Logical Channel Number. Some systems don't use sequential channels. They might use CH.1,4,8,9,10,18 &20. You MUST put them in those exact channels in the scanner.

It's a Police EDAC's system. They use the LPE200 ericsson radios.
It also may be that I dont have my scanner programmed correct. There was a section for talk groups, what I have no idea how to set.

OK now tell us what channel numbers you have each frequency programmed into. Also have you programmed in any of the talkgroup ID's like the first one listed (02-025).

Now, once I put in the FREQ in Bank four, in that order, I'm getting correct scanning of the system, at least so far. I guess bank 4 is how it should be entered???
