Manual programming question
I hope this hasn't been covered, but I looked around as much as possible before posting this. My friend just bought a Pro96 and since I've had one for a while he asked the following question, which I was of no help. If it wasn't for Win96, I'd still be listening to the weather channel. Here's his question....
On my Pro-96 I can go to my first bank of frequencies,
by entering MAN 000 MAN. Now when I press PGM-TRUNK
the top line of my scanner shows
"Bank 0-0 ON". I know that stands for the first
location in the talk group area. I also know that
because I have a check mark in the ON column that's
why the display shows ON in the upper right.
Question: how do I toggle the ON to OFF (or vice
versa) using only the scanner and not the software?
I am trying to figure a way to turn groups on and off
while I am away from my computer. I know I can
individually lock talk id's in an out. But not a
group of them.
