Pro 96 speaker question

Hey guys...just wondering if this would work on a Pro 96 via headphone jack - obviously it won't transmit just wondering if it would work as a speaker.

This should work as a speaker. RS also sells mini lapel speakers that work as well.

Radio Shack hasn't sold mini lapel speakers for many years.

I use a lapel speaker purchased from Motorola some years ago, they sold them for $25.00 with the transmit parts removed and the rubber keyer glued....On the PRO96 tho you have to ground out the audio resistor that cuts down the audio when using the external speaker jack with a piece of wire...
