Default Pro 96 softare version 1.0

Pro 96 softare version 1.0 is a old version...
Is the newer version better? and how many versions excatly do they have? and which ones?

explaine to me what the newer versions if there better that the 1.0

I won't even try to answer those questions. If you visit Don's site, however, you'll see a revision history. It'll explain what changes occur between revisions.

The current revision of WIN96 is ver 1.53. To find all the changes that

I think terpan is referring to the PRO-96 firmware not software. They are 2 very different things. You can think of the firmware as the 'brains' of the radio... 73s Mike

I don't think there ever was a firmware v1.0, pretty sure it started with 1.1

just push 3 on welcome screen just after turning on scanner. cpu1.4, dsp:U1.2,voc 1.0. if its the latest model.
