Don Starr Win96 typical turnaround time?

Don Starr Win96 typical turnaround time?

For those of you in California when paying by mail, what is the normal turnaround time for Don Starr to email your Win96 key?

Also what is his usual turnaround time responding to emails?

Should be losing email service very soon so I'll be out of luck, and since the Win96 key has not yet been received on my end, just wanted to get an idea how long it took some of you.

There must be millions of people around the world ordering Win96, wish so many of you would not buy just yet so I can get mine fast!

I just got Win96 two days ago. Turnaround time
for the key was about 15 minutes.

I'm sure that Don wishes that many, but there are not that many scanners sold. Number would be in thousands.

Don has to make a living, spend time with family and his software for scanners is a hobby. If he was really making money, he wouldn't continue to give away most of the programs. So he will send your key as soon as he has time.

I received my key in about 1 week from mailing in the check to him from Az. All depends on how busy he is. When you get your key besure to write it down and do not loose it.

I sent him a check on april 13th and still no reply or registration no as of yet, I have tryed to get in touch with him but cannot, anyone no how to??? I tought i sent the money in enough time for him to cash it and e mail the no to me, but it has not been even cashed yet? hope everything is ok with him , does anyone no or have any ideas how to reach him on this??? my e mail address is wc8i@yahoo.com thanks, Bill

I to sent my registration by snail mail and it took just under two weeks for both win97 and win96 from Don. Just send him another email ( listed on his website ) ....

I did mine online with plastic and had key in about 10 minutes...

Highly recommernd this method...

I would say the check is lost in the mail.

I just logged on to find the Don Starr Win 96 download, heard that it was great software, but I've read many complaints about his response time. Is this true ? If so, does the man reply to e-mail and has this improved?

No he is not replying to emails. The best thing you can do is buy it with paypal and the key will automatically be sent to you.

That is correct; he does not seem to reply to e-mails. I lost my key, for WIN-96. I emailed and provided supporting info that I had purchased it. After two weeks I sent him another $30 and printed out the key. I suggest you print out the key.
Great software; poor customer service. An automated reply or balnket I don't do email would be nice.

I agree. Pay with PalPal and save the key in multiple locations. The program is worth every penny. It will also work well with RR's database.
