Default Beech Grove, IN Amtrack facility

Finally found out the info on the Beech Grove IN Amtrak refurbishing/repair facility, and will try to do some monitoring of it this next couple of weeks. The rail freqs are on a repeater at 75 watts, so should be able to catch anything interesting....

My Step-Dad worked there for many years, but retired about 20 years ago, and then passed away (so much for retirement). When I traveled back home, I would always have their freqs in my radio just so I might get to hear him while I was vacationing... Much has probably changed since then. Good Luck.

Most of the actual car maintenance radio traffic is on the UHF hand held radios thru the repeater they have. I listen to it all the time. The 452.9 repeater is a great listen if you can receive it.

Here is what I show VHF wise, 161.28 was always the car switching frequency.

160.245
160.500
161.280
161.475

If you want to have a good laugh, go to youtube, and type in FEMA CAMP and do a search. And these people are running around loose!
