The list I had says:
160.650 Road
160.890 MOW
161.100 Yard
161.325 Worcester Container Facility
But if you're saying that they're building a new yard or something, they might be using a contractor.

P & w new haven drop yard
Add these 3 frequencies to Daves list: 160.8 MHz 160.755 MHz & 452.9125 MHZ, I am not sure but the UHF frequency looks to used for their EOT's. I pulled them off of the FCC website under the callsign: KYF240.

awsome, i will start with that and see what i get, i've noticed that P&W are showing up very strong on the tracks in the new haven area, along the industrial tracks in the grand ave area of new haven,
they purchased a pretty big lot from a defuct factory here in new haven, they stipped it and put their warning signs all over the place for tresspassing and whatnot and it has their name on it,
But as i said, i see them moving alot along the industrial (non passenger) tracks in new haven,
I have seen a decline in CSX around here, so i don't know if that has anything to do with it?

Well, your lucky because there's next to no trackside businesses left in this area. But Vulcan Materials did just open a new siding on an old pit near here and they appear to be running a regular rock train. So at least that's something.

I haven't seen any track side drop off's ever around here, maybe because i am not around when it happens, i know there is a chemical factory in wallingford, ct that gets chemicals dropped off by tanker cars every night, And i know Tilcon CT has their track in the brandford area.. but i have yet to see it used, their track is in alot of woodsy area's, but i am sure that is because they extract rocks and whatnot,
But as for P&W, i have seen them alot lately, maybe 4-5 times daily, so i am going to start monitoring them and see what i can pull up

I hear them nightly on 160.65 as they come up the Waterbury line through Derby. They call MetroNorth on 160.545 to let them know they cleared the switch at Derby from the Waterbury main to the Millbrook line. "Switch is lined and locked normal for the Waterbury main"

Does anyone know if they have any active policing activities and what the frequency would be?

Providence & Worchester Railroad
Skynet, google Providence & Worschester Railroad & it will display a number of official & unnoficial dedicated websites. The Wiki website is extremely informative, check it out, there is a scanner website Untitled Document that list 160.755 MHz & 160.89 MHz as being assigned to the P&WRRPD I couldn't confirm that assignment with the FCC database except that the frequencies are allocated to the P&WRR with no type of law enforcement designation so I would stick with Daves very accurate list of railroad frequencies showing 160.89 MHz as being assigned to their MOW dept. Dkostrey seems to reside in the local area so maybe he can shed more light on this subject. Wish I could help you out further except I no longer reside in Dutchess County, N.Y.
Good luck
