Default BNSF Frequencies For NEA

I have the Union Pacific Frequency For My Area, It's 160.320 FM with CSQ in place, However the city next door has that line and crosses a Burlington Northern Santa Fe Line But I Don't have their frequencies for the Northeastern Arkansas/Jonesboro Area, Does anyone have these or know which ones in the DB it might be?

Thanks!

Brian,
Unless it has changed, it should be 161.415. The database shows the area the frequency covers, i.e.:

161.41500 BM BRLNGTN THYR Thayer Subdivision - Road (West Springfield Missouri to Mammoth Spring, to Jonesboro to Madlock Arkansas) FM Railroad

BNSF uses some powerful bases on this line, you should be able to hear several towers from where you are.

Ok Great, I'll program them in and give it a shot, I'm about 25 to 30 miles off that line but I'm right next to UP line and they suck..I can't hardly hear the trains at all, Just dispatch, now they've put up some kind of new towers at every crossing, They have a directional antenna and they all point north. I have no idea what they are for..

I saw those freqs in the database but it said road and there were several listed, I wasn't sure which one it was... lol

Thanks!

Ah, I see the confusion. Some roads, like KCS, uses "road" and "dispatcher" when referring to different channels.

BNSF and UP use the same channel for both.

BNSF has towers at Thayer, Imboden, Jonesboro and Madlock. I figure you will hear the Imboden and Jonesboro towers with no problem.

You might be able to hear BNSF on the line that runs through Blytheville also on 161.385. They have towers at Portageville, Blytheville and Turrell that might be close enough to you.

The Frequency I have for UP is 160.320 and they talk all the time on it but I only hear dispatch to train ops unless they're close, I never hear the trains and I'm right on top of that line. Hear the imboden one, From Here! Wow.

So I need to program These:
160-320 Union Pacific
161.385 For BNSF Blytheville and
161.415 for BNSF Jonesboro
Right?

Ok, I notice on the UP line, They have new antenna's they've just put up the last few months at about every three crossings, They point North up the track, They look like a directional antenna of some sort, They're brown on Poles pointing North. They look about like the orange bicycle flags. Anyone know what these are for?

UP used to talk all the time on 160.320, But in the last week I've heard very little traffic, Just today as a matter of fact, I've heard nothing out of the BNSF frequencies.

FYI, I changed to a different antenna today and it's made the world of difference. I am hearing the UP Line From Brinkley To Greenway And The BNSF Line From Hardy To Blytheville. Lots Of RR Listening Now, Thanks for the heads up and help Guys!
