They are using UHF frequencies that are listed as NCDOT out of either Dilsboro or Bryson City, I cant remember for sure. I used to spend a lot of time out in that area listening to them. I will see if I can track down the frequencies again.

467.8125 is what is listed, but I am not sure thats correct. But you can easily ind their frequency. Go to Bryson City Depot about an hour before a train is scheduled to leave and just scan the 450-470 band. If you have access to a freq counter find a good, comfy spot to sit near the depot antenna, turn it on and wait
Thats how I go frequency hunting. That will at least get you their input freq if the have a repeater and you can figure out what the output is by that. The output for 450-470 is almost always 5MHz different from the input.
