Default Problems with BNSF Reception

I am located in the Waco Tx area and I can pick up communication on the BNSF channel 30, usually from Manhattan to Belco. However when I go to Blue Cut Rd near Moody, all I pick up is an occasional quick buzzing sound on my scanner. I am thinking I should be able to hear the detectors and crews. Does anyone have any ideas on why this is happening? I use a magnetic mount antenna, the same one I use to pick them up in Waco.

Any help appreciated.

Sounds like your picking up interference or maybe even a VHF control channel for a TRS.

Railroad channels are common areas for intermod from neighboring frequencies.
