Hi,
New to the scanner world and recently picked up a bcd436hp in hopes of picking up woonsocket police. I hear lots of talk on woonsocket fire but not much action on police. Used Sentinel to create a favorites list anything i need to tweak in there ?

Woonsocket PD operates mostly on the RISCON statewide trunk system. If you have those talk groups in the scanner along with the frequencies for the North Simulcast, you should hear them. The fire is still primarily on VHF.
