I got another question I reprogrammed my scanner last night and when I am holding on the sac city fire dispatch in site one I am getting a message flashing on my screen saying finding ctrlchan is that supposed to be happening

If it says Finding Control Channel, you either don't have a needed control channel programmed or poor reception.

Control channels are color coded in the RR.com database

Your firmware is newer than mine, I don't think that's an issue.

Yeah if it says that youre not getting a signal from the control channel which would explain why you're not hearing anything.

When you are hearing something you are probably hearing it from the county site.
