Doing a FCC data base search of 150.830, it does not show anyone licensed in the general San Diego area, or anyone licensed within the last 10 yrs.

They must be using it without a licensee if I can't find one which is against FCC rules for business the only freqs you can use for business without a license is MURS and FRS and CB which many do not use because of interference.

Also I forgot to mention that EXRS 900 MHZ can be used for business license free as well Motorla DTR and the Trisquare.

Regarding the comment about being non-licensed, be informed there are multiple companies that legally hold blanket licences to utilize former VHF & UHF pager frequencies. Most often they are in the 150 and 450Mhz block ranges.

They are coded as "CP" in the FCC database, and the companies are assigned a spectrum block they may reuse. These seem to be popular quite with LTR providers.

In the LA basin we have several that use the former 152.xxxx and 454.xxxx pager channels for example.

Could be similar in SD.

Your master site
Nextel as in Sprint's CDMA PTT? Because there's not much of Nextel's iDEN network left in the US, if any.

I know this may be slightly off topic, but it is definitely related to the discussion. Does anyone have a list of repo companies and frequencies? This is something that I have never got around to searching for or compiling. I was hoping someone her may have at least a few of these.
