Oakland not coming in for me

I could have sworn I posted this earlier, guess not... I am using a BCT8 scanner, and followed the EDACS programming guides, and even (attempted to at least) used the ARC8 software for the programming, but it's still scanning the freqs, instead of the IDs as it's supposed to (I guess). I programmed the freqs in order, and even programmed the blanks, but nothing. Could it be that I am out of range (Newark)?

Newark might be too far to hear the main (APL) system, so try the Seneca subsystem too. It's farther south and higher and you might have a shot. Always try different locations for your scanner to see if you find a hot spot. When the weather starts to heat up, I often find that distant systems get much stronger.
