Per EBRCS meeting mintues, the ETA for the entire system to be fully operational is December 2012. The plan is for the system to be brought up in Phases, with the first Phase, that includes the CoCo West Cell and the AlCo East Cell, operational at the end of 2011.

AECOM has begun coverage testing for the CoCo West Cell this week (June 17) and will begin the AlCo East Cell in the next couple of weeks.

Here is a operational matrix.
East Bay Regional Communications System Authority

Can a mod make this a sticky since it appears this will be coming online soon?

I'm sticking this. Lets keep the chatter noise floor down. Use the other existing threads for basic questions or speculation. Thanks.

I just found the missing Site 1-004 control channel on 774.49375. It is "Oakland Simulcast," utilizing P25 LSM.

See license (with map): FCC Callsign WQMY905 Details

774.49375
Sys ID: 1F1
WACN: BEE00
NAC: 1F4
RFSS: 1
Site: 004

I'll try to make my PSR-500 talk to Pro96Com later and get the rest of the site info, unless someone beats me to it.

Oh Inigo, you should never throw me a challenge like that....but maybe you didn't have me in mind :)

Even behind you know who's hill I get 3-5 bars on this with the PSR 600 showing 85-95% packets received.
My guess what I'm hearing is the KALX Site at 331 meters.

NOTE: look at the last two bandplans (Tables), at the end they show the # 2, this is in the area that Pro96com says how many slots there are and 2 slots means Phase II ?
EDIT: Unitrunker only shows the first two bandplans and as slot 1, does not list the second two, deleted the Pro96com site info and ran again to verify, came up the same as posted below.

It looks like you're gonna get your wish! ALCO East Simulcast is almost done, with the last site to be completed by the end of this month (according to the newsletter). Keep an eye out then for new 700 MHz control channels. :)

Move to ALCO.

When Patterson Pass comes online that should spray the RF out this way. It will depend on the antenna configuration though. Since we don't have a good example to base propagation off (the existing site doesn't have a lot at it; I have pictures somewhere) we won't know until it's online. The good thing is that since it's part of a sub-simulcast system you'll hear everything from the other East sites.

Been there, done that.

According to some of the maps, we should get something out this way, not much. I think the August and september newsletters have some pics.

Are you just logging the voice channels or hearing the actual voice traffic

Excellent work Dave. According to the newsletter the ALCO Northwest Simulcast has 16 freqs total. You've found 10 of them, 6 more to go. :)

And 3 more of the 6 left for site 104 all the same TG 65534

Bill and anyone else who cares... NOT hearing traffic, using GRE 600 to pipe data in analyze mode to Pro96com (can't hear traffic in analyze mode). Having Pro96com send freq to hear audio to bc796, 796 can't decode LSM Freq so I hear no audio, but Pro96com is logging Freqs Times and TGs.
