That was Pleasanton PD conducting patrols in support of the "1st Wednesday Street Party" event in Pleasanton. The dispatch and unit radio IDs do match those of PPD- Dispatch: 3239xxx
Units: 3250xxx
I don't know what they call the channel- Channel 5? Tac 5?

My guess is that ALCO East Simulcast TGID 3311 is LPD Investigations and TGID 3312 is LPD Narcotics based on what they had on the old system.

Not sure if its new, but just started hearing some testing on TGID 4. radio: 16777209. If i'm programmed right, i'm only listening to the east simulcast tower.

Vince, tsk tsk. Several posts in a ten minute time frame. Lets condense things in the future.
Again, as a reminder, lets try and keep the chatter down. When Sticky threads get huge people don't read them and jump to the last page.

Lots of radio techs today on several previously silent TGs today, including 6308, 6309, and 6310...The difference being they were using 4500 and 4547 series radios rather than their usual ones... More activity on CCC Central each day now...

I was just looking through the minutes from the Board of Directors meetings, and it appears that the Gwin (ALCO Northwest Standalone) and Fire Station 53 (CCCO East Standalone) sites have both been removed from the system design. Coverage testing around the Caldecott Tunnel showed sufficient coverage without Gwin, and the Los Vaqueros site is expected to provide ample coverage without Fire Station 53.

I've had it logged at CCSO Tac (Enc) for some time now. It's been encrypted every time I've landed on it. Obviously it is nearly impossible to ID the TG - specifically its purpose, unless someone catches a reference to it on another clear talkgroup. 4077xxx radios are all CCSO (mostly).

UC Berkeley PD
I heard some traffic today on ALCO NW from TGID 3605 with some reference to UC. Can someone confirm that this is in fact Cal PD primary dispatch? The traffic was rather light, and having not listened to them before on the old system, I don't know if this was normal or not. We know that 3609 is their ch 5, so it seems reasonable that this would be primary dispatch.

I can confirm that 3605 is UCPD Dispatch #1, listening to both systems presently. Just got my 996T up and running this system, so I hope to help as Berkeley comes online ...
