Nevermind I am stupid. I just noticed the radio ID on the bottom line of the display. I was too busy concentrating on the TG. I will listen for about another 15 before I have to go to work and see if I can get any radio numbers.

ACSO doesn't use George in call signs, and are typically structured slightly differently (IE, 32 Adam 12) with only some exceptions.

I can't hear the SW system from where I am in Livermore, but I would expect when ACSO goes live they'd be on TG's that are more County wide due to the areas they patrol. Figure currently they have Dublin Police, AC Transit services, and even the hospital security on Disp. 2 while Disp 1 has all the Castro Valley, San Lorenzo, and unincorporated areas such as Sunol and outer Livermore.

I agree. You will know ACSO when you hear them, because at least ACSO 1 (west) Eden Township station units use "backwards" unit IDs. i.e. 21 Adam 4, where the beat (21) comes first. I haven't run into any other agencies that do it that way.

Those sound very Union City PD-ish to me, second guess would be Newark PD.

This is Union City PD. They went "live" this morning.

I guessed right then.

Here are some more of my guesses. I gotta keep up with KMA.
7005 Antioch
7305 Martinez
7405 Pittsburg (lots of background activity on the 7405-7418 range from 4268xxx)

Someone has been "bench testing" radios on TG 5003 lately. It's an odd man out being in the 5xxx range. Radio range of 3284xxx. It's in the radio range between EBRP and UC Berk so it would seem to be non-City or County.

Looking at the EBRCS website.. Wondering if maybe its for someone like Dept. of Trans. or or one of the other "Special districts" like the livermore buses.

I would favor someone like CalTrans. The highest RID I have seen is ~118 so that's a decent count so far. Plus they seem active on more than just ALCO East. I do think I heard the tester call 5003 "channel 3".

I heard the same guy testing today on 5003, 5004 and I think 5006. I guess he didn't have anything better to do for Saturday!

And some more speculation but it looks like the County Sheriff talkgroups start at x705 for their respective County ranges (ALCO: 3xxx, COCO 7xxx).

This looks like a possible break-down:
1xxx Interop - PS and non-Pub Safety
2xxx ALCO - County Fire and ?
3xxx ALCO - Law Agencies
4xxx ALCO - City Public Works
5xxx ??
6xxx COCO - County Fire and local
7xxx COCO - County and City Law Agencies
8xxx I've only seen TG8605
9xxx none seen yet
10xxx Misc Agencies like EBRP

Re Newark. I think it is a typo maybe? Should be 3355 I think. That is what is in the Wiki and was posted here earlier.

More testing throughout the day on 5003 and 5004. Saw radio number of 3284118 just a short while ago. Still no clues what the 500# is for,, I did hear the tester refer to someone as dispatch on 5003 earlier though. EDIT: tester just told whom he was talking with to select the "dial a ride channel".

Dial a ride is a West Contra Costa County Transit program...
Dial-A-Ride | WestCAT

I'd bet their "dispatch" is done on a portable or base radio, and not from a typical dispatch console...
