This is Alameda P.D. I hear them dispatching calls as I type. Receiving them on ALCO SW- surprised they are on ALCO East as well.

because someone out east is affiliated with their talkgroups. as long as east site is neighbor with northwest it should do that.

this is my understanding.

Interesting: just now had TWO PAUL THIRTY FIVE asking DISPATCH for a CASE AND TIME ... which is clearly BPD, but on a previously identified BFD channel. No response was forthcoming, and he did not ask for it again.

EDIT: he's back, still not getting a response

can anyone confirm if union city PD is back on EBRCS? I see activity but can't monitor any voice traffic at this time.

Yes, Union City PD has been back on EBRCS for the past couple of days. Just heard a transmission on talkgroup 3655 just a few minutes ago. I still have 40016 programmed in just in case they switch back again.

I was thinking it was AC Transit. Does LAVTA frequently go up to Contra Costa County, specifically the eastern BART stations?

Also, regarding the LAVTA talkgroups, those are used in a transit trunking fashion. So trunked on top of trunked. Basically the way it works is the bus sends a request to the dispatcher to talk. If she permits it she assigns one of the open channels (or TG's in our case) for use. This explains all the testing in the beginning with the same radio ID. From what I have seen 5002 and 5003 are for buses contacting dispatch. 5004 and 5004 are for dispatch calling the buses.

On the topic of sites, we're still waiting for one more site which is Niles Canyon (single-site fill-in). The recent newsletter says it's still in planning.

LAVTA are the wheels buses that serve eastern Alameda county. they may go up to walnut creek Bart at least. I'd have to look at a system map.

I am hearing TG 3751 on ALCO East Simulcast. Hearing traffic about "Guardian Angel". Anyone know what agency this may be?

I caught some of the 3751 traffic. Sounded civilian. No call signs, I heard a few names though. Of the 2 or 3 people talking, all of them were using "over" at the end of every transmission. I thought I heard reference to a street in Fremont, but I've been busy enough I may be mistaken.

TG3751 is part of the block for Alameda County services. The logs I have for ALCO East show 3015001 and 3015000 talking to each other.

I believe it's a Fremont PD Investigations group.
