Haven't been listening to fire along, but for what it's worth,, a working structure fire right now in Pleasanton is on command 9.. Seems the command ch/battalion # equation is likely..

Default Command 18

Seems like Command 18 in the ALCO Fire system is for inter-agency use. Have heard it assigned for a joint Fremont-Milipitas FD event (traffic accident) and for a Fremont - U.C. traffic accident call.

The old ALCO Crane Ridge site is back online. It's using a few freqs from the old system. DB has been updated.

Only seeing ACSO/ACFD units so far affiliating.

With the ACFD traffic coming on to the 'BRCS a few extra talkgroups in the ALCO Fire range have appeared. I've got 2777, 2778, 2784, 2785 and 2786. What I have heard has been training related. LP Fire has been doing a lot of training on 2785. The mock drills often refer to odd channel names (Control 9, Command 9, Tac 79, etc) which I think don't apply to the name of 2785 but only serve for the drill.

I'm hearing ALCO Public works on 4708 4706 4700. Traffic was talking about what channels to use for what on "these new radios" So it sounds like the old system may no longer be in use for PW pretty soon.

Default TG 5551

Been hearing TG 5551 on CoCo East site. Appear to be medical calls with frequent mentions of Concord, Oakley, etc. Calls refer to Code 2 and Code 3 and are probably dispatch activities but no reference to AMR was heard. Maybe other ambulance or maybe Con Fire EMTs ?? Clear signals from my rooftop Diamond discone here in Clayton. Nothing in the EBRCS TG database.

Wouldn't it be easier to switch to Phase II P25 for added capacity in addition to more repeater pairs?

They are eventually upgrading to Phase II, but this is a short-term immediate solution. They will have to migrate to Phase II by January 2017.

Yeah I saw that, and there seems to be nothing else listed in 102xx range.

It was a causal back a forth between 2 unidentified units basically waiting for a subject to get home. Felt like they were in the parking lot of his apartment waiting for him. They made a few references to his probation.
It's not something to be added yet, just wanted to see if others have heard similar traffic on that TG.

Thx

I see 3 ID's today: 3296100, 3296101, 3296099

Looking I see that 3296099 had a couple calls on TG 20210. But no other activity from 11am today (as far back as I can go in unitrunker)

Those radio ID's also affiliated with 10205 according to my logs.

I'll try and give a listen as well.

Heard com units testing TG 3407 after some discussion about OPD3. This seems to work with the TG numbering system so far. So, possibly OPD1 3405, OPD2 3406, OPD3 3407.
